Clearing the Air: The obscure (& hilarious) similarities between Roam PC + Dunwoody
When our development team first stepped foot into Roam Perimeter Center’s unoccupied space, it was love at first “site.”
Little did we know just how much our new property would logistically resemble it’s sister property, Roam Dunwoody.
You see, a lot of members and guests already refer to Roam Dunwoody as Roam Perimeter. So we thought we would settle this once and for all by creating a list of distinguishing factors about each property.
When the naming committee chose Roam Dunwoody in 2012, we had no idea we would be opening another location a mere 1.6 miles away in 2017. Full transparency – we don’t have a naming committee.
Prior to choosing this property located at 1151 Hammond Drive NE inside of incorporated Dunwoody, Georgia, we failed to consider Roam Dunwoody’s address. It’s location, 1155 Mount Vernon Highway NE, also falls into incorporated Dunwoody. Both properties have Atlanta addresses, though their zip codes are different.
Not only that, but both of our Perimeter area Roams are second floor parcels located in shopping plazas with “Perimeter” in their names. Roam Dunwoody is located inside of Perimeter Pointe, while Roam Perimeter Center sits atop the Perimeter Expo complex. Confusing? We agree. It’s hilarious.
A MARTA station also falls within 100 yards of both properties. Have out of town guests arriving from the airport? Hopefully they will remember to get off at the Dunwoody stop for Roam Perimeter Center, and the Sandy Springs stop for Roam Dunwoody. Luckily, however, our Dunwoody-area properties are only located a quick 10 minute drive apart or an easy 5 minute ride between MARTA stations.
The Perimeter Center neighborhood is located at the corner of Perimeter Center Parkway and Hammond Drive, just down the road from Roam.
Regardless of their similarities, there is one distinguishing factor between each location. Roam Perimeter Center sits less than one-tenth of a mile off I-285, the Ashford Dunwoody Road exit. Roam Dunwoody sits less than a quarter mile off of GA-400, the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs exit via Abernathy Road. If you remember this factor, you’ll never get confused. Unless you want to sit in dreadful Atlanta traffic, keep these directions in mind to reach the appropriate location.
Hopefully we’ve helped distinguish our second Roam workplace from the latest edition. Stop by to get an exclusive tour of Roam Perimeter Center- we look forward to sharing the space with you.
